Four men have been charged with the murder of rapper XXXTentacion in Florida.
Michael Boatwright, Robert Allen, Trayvon Newsome and Dedrick Williams are accused of the killing.
Boatwright and Williams have been arrested while authorities continue to search for Allen and Newsome.
They were also indicted on armed robbery charges at Broward County Court in relation to the shooting on 18 June.
It happened as the music star left a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, north of Miami, in his sports car.
Court documents name Boatwright as the one who fired the fatal shot at the 20-year-old performer, whose most recent album debuted at number one in the US back in March.
Police said the talented youngster – real name Jahseh Onfroy – had been carrying a bag with $50,000 (£38,185) in cash, which was stolen.
The suspects are all 22-years-old, apart from Newsome, who is 20.
At the time of his death, Onfroy was awaiting trial after pleading not guilty to domestic abuse against his pregnant former girlfriend, Geneva Ayala.
He had been awaiting trial to answer the allegations, which stemmed from an incident last October, and had been released on house arrest not long before he was killed.
Onfroy had a growing fanbase but drew criticism for his conduct, and was removed from certain Spotify playlists as part of a new policy by the music streaming platform to address “artist conduct”.
His music was reinstated earlier this month after the policy – which also affected R&B star R Kelly following allegations of sexual abuse – was criticised for targeting specific artists.
Onfroy had previously been arrested for other criminal charges, including robbery.
After he died, his mother revealed that he had been set to become a father.
Cleopatra Bernard posted a photo of an ultrasound picture on Instagram, writing: “He left us a final gift.”
It is not known who the mother of the child is.
