at high volumes, LaVar Ball has become an inescapable part
of the sports media landscape.

Ball is the type of character that is ripe for parody, and on
Thursday night, “Saturday Night Live” finally got to take aim at
the infamous father, with Kenan Thompson playing the role of
Big Baller-in-Chief.

Thompson’s performance was one of dedication and committment,
taking Ball’s already outlandish character and expanding him into
space, with claims like, “Look at me! I am eight feet
tall! I can jump 20 feet high! I once jumped over a Super
Target! This past Thanksgiving I ate 100 turkeys!”

He also expanded on LaVar’s claim that he could beat
Jordan, saying that he could do it wearing a beekeeper suit
and Hamburger Helper gloves.
